This Saturday there were many anglers who got a chance to catch Mutton snapper and Red grouper, along with Kingfish during all three of our daily trips. The stirred up and “dirty” conditions of the water, left over from tropical storm Faye, have brought cooler water temperatures over our reef systems and the fish are responding well to the changes. All of the fish are being caught on dead sardines in various depths and multiple hook-ups have been a common sight throughout the day.

Lyn was fishing a dead sardine on the bottom to catch this beautiful 10 pound red Grouper during the 8am to 12 pm morning trip this past Saturday. Lyn and his wife Jenny also caught kingfish to 12 pounds and a few nice Mutton snapper to bring home for dinner. They enjoyed their first trip so much, that they joined us on the 1pm to 5pm trip and did just as well, if not better!

Dexter (L) of Palm Beach and Jim (R) of Hypoluxo, Florida both did very well on the Red Grouper and Mutton snapper while fishing sardines on the bottom. Dexter had the hot spot going as the photo shows below with a nice catch of kingfish (12 pounds), Mutton snapper (to 7 pounds) and a Red Grouper to dress out out for the table when he gets home.

Some of the folks from the afternoon trip show off their fish (Kingfish, Mutton snapper, yellow-tail snapper and grouper) while heading back into the Boynton Inlet on Saturday 8/23/08. Come join the fun aboard the Lady K on any of our three daily trips. We are a family oriented operation geared toward the education of the fish catching business in a social setting and our crews are eagerly waiting to serve you, whether a novice or professional angler. Get out of the ordinary and soak a line today!
