Taking a day off from work, Joe caught this 59 inch King Mackerel on “the drop”. The fish ate a triple hooked sardine just under the boat as Joe was letting out line, almost taking every bit of line from the reel during its initial run and was brought to gaff within 5 minutes. The fish weighed in at 50 pounds back at the dock and is Joe’s largest fish caught to date.
