Some of the 6th grade students from Crestwood Middle School display the fish they caught during a field trip aboard the Lady K. The young anglers caught fished with both sardine rigs and bottom rigs to land king mackerel, filefish, snapper, jacks and a host of other reef fish.
Barjack Fishing promotes educational trips such as these for students in an attempt to promote catch and release fishing, the importance of persevering sea life and education of the vast aquatic ecosystems found along the Palm Beach county coastlines.
Please feel free to contact us about chartering the Lady K for your school’s field trips on any biology or marine biology subjects. Educating our children today about the importance of Florida’s diverse marine ecosystems will help preserve these precious resources for generations to come.
