Great Fishing Continues

Fat mutton snapper like the one pictured above can be caught under the kingfish schools – the trick is getting your bait down to them before a toothy mackerel grabs it.

One of this week’s morning catches included cobia, kingfish, a 30 pound Black-fin tuna and yellow-tail snapper. The bonito continue hitting and as summer approaches, expect more catches of the big black-fin tuna.

One of this weeks afternoon catches included mahi mahi, cobia, kingfish, yellow-tail snapper and jacks. Some big fish are being hooked, taxing anglers and their gear as they try to get their fish to the boat before the sharks get to them.

Be prepared for a work out when battling large fish like the 40 pound cobia pictured above. As we proceed into summer, be sure to wear sunblock and drink plenty of water. The Lady K is your gateway to a great offshore adventure today!
