Big Sharks equal up to Summer Cobia

Austin caught this great tasting Cobia as the Lady K drifted over a pod of Bull Sharks. It was the second cobia taken during the afternoon trip and will be joining some Yellow-tail snapper for dinner. Austin and his father made a day of it fishing both the morning and afternoon trips. Wonderful job fellas!

The Lady K has brought in a few stray Cobia this week. The fish are hanging around the Bull sharks and local wrecks where they will eat sardines drifting near the bottom.

Nice Mutton snapper continue to be caught along with Yellow-tail, Mangrove (Gray) and the occasional Schoolmaster snapper. Our experienced crews can teach you how to spool the bottom for these fish or rig your rod with a bottom rig and squid to include Triggerfish along with the snapper bite.

Plan a summer outing today aboard the Lady K, the south county’s cleanest drift fishing vessel with the most courteous and professional crews. Just come as you are and we’ll do all the work so you and your family can have a “reel” good time. See ya at the dock!
