Patti strains to hold up a 30 pound Cobia brought aboard the Lady K during a recent afternoon trip this week. The afternoon breezes have been helping to keep anglers cool while fishing the shading side of the vessel and helps to cover more of the fishing grounds while drifting.

Big “flag-sized” Yellow-tail snapper like these are being caught during our afternoon trips. Most of the fish will average 3/4 of a pound but there have been plenty of three and four pound fish being caught on jigs tipped with squid or sardine halves fished on double hook rigs.
