Their Back!

Memorial Day weekend started with a flurry of King Mackerel action that kept anglers busy reeling in fish and mates hustling along the rail. Friday nights catch included King Mackerel ranging between 10 to 27 pounds. The fish started feeding just before sunset as anglers were fishing for snapper and cobia. Once darkness fell the fish turned on into a feeding frenzy and electrified the air with shouts of excitement by anglers engaged in battle.

Night fishing is a cooler alternative to fishing during the hotter parts of the day and the Lady K offers night fishing trips seven days a week. Anglers should be at the dock by 6 pm to buy their tickets. Sorry but there is no beer or alcohol permitted on night-time fishing trips (excluding private charters). Lady and junior anglers may wish to bring light outerwear for the evening breezes across the water may become very cool. Plan a trip today for a night of fishing under the lights of the Lady K!
