VIP anglers Rob (l) and Mark (r) display two nice Cobia caught during a very recent afternoon trip on the Lady K.  Both fish slammed baits drifted just off the bottom. Although not very pretty by nature, these wonderful game fish make excellent table fare and can feed a small family for at least a week.

This beautiful Coney Grouper (aka Strawberry Grouper) was caught and released due to the annual Shallow Water Grouper closed season. Grouper season will reopen on May 1st so anglers will be able to take grouper again as long as they meet the state’s recreational size limits.

A member of the needlefish family, this Houndfish is just one of the many different fish species anglers may be able to catch during the spring and early summer migrations off the South Florida coastline. Houndfish can go up to six feet long and can be seen leaping across the surface of the ocean as they chase small baitfish.

Don’t miss your chance to hook into a great time this spring and plan a trip aboard the Lady K. We supply everything you need for four hours of offshore exploration. No angling experience required, our crews will show you how and coach you through the fight, then they’ll fillet your catch back at the dock.  Good luck and tight lines!
