Lady K took a nice Kingfish and a cow Mahi Mahi during a morning trip aboard the Lady K. April and May are the typical months for the larger Mahi to start showing up.
Cobia continue to surprise anglers as the Lady K drifts over the local wrecks and large Bull Sharks. These fish will eat baits fished anywhere in the water column. Although most fish are caught by anglers fishing at or near the bottom, they will occasionally ambush a bait from under boat while its descending.
Night fishing has been a family affair. Bring the kids out for some fun fishing quality time to catch Mangrove Snapper, Lane Snapper, Porgies and Triggerfish while drift fishing and using bottom rigs.
We are also bringing home a few nice Snapper, Red Porgies and Gray Triggerfish while fishing the deep water. Other anglers are catching Yellowtail Snapper and some Grunts.
The Lady K sails three times daily and no reservations are needed. Florida is the fishing capital of the world which makes it the perfect place to explore with family and friends alike. Bar Jack Fishing and the Lady K drift fishing vessel is located in historic downtown Lantana on the west side of the Lantana Bridge right behind the Kona Bay Cafe and Sushi Bon restaurant. Thank you for visiting and fishing aboard the Lady K.
