Avril fished with her family during a calm morning trip aboard the Lady K and caught this nice 32 pound King Mackerel and released a seven foot Sandbar Shark. Other anglers also caught Vermillion Snapper, King Mackerel and False Albacore.  The afternoon trips have been nice a cool with nice seabreezes creating the perfect drifts for anglers in search of King Mackerel, Mutton and Yellow-tail Snapper and even an  occasional African Pompano or Cero Mackerel showing up along the reef.

Fred’s big Mutton Snapper came up during an afternoon trip. The fish ate a sardine spooled on the bottom in 120 feet of water. Anglers new to fishing will learn how to fish for and catch nice fish like these with a little coaching from our experienced captains and mates. Night fishing has also been doing well with King Mackerel, Lane Snapper, Gray Snapper, Yellowtail Snapper and an occasional Sailfish just before dark.

For anglers who enjoy calm seas and the warmth of the Florida sun, a morning trip will surely fit the bill. The afternoon trips are much cooler with a sea breeze in your face as you fish the shady side of the boat in search of snapper. Our night time trips offer some spectacular sunsets and surprising catches. Hook into a good time and book a trip today aboard the Lady K.
