Early May saw some great Mutton snapper action along with small kingfish, mahi mahi, cobia and many sightings of Hammerhead sharks during the morning and afternoon trips.
A mid-May afternoon trip showing a catch of kingfish, mahi mahi and cobia caught only a mile off the sunny beaches of Lake Worth and Lantana, Florida.
Another successful morning trip with a limit of cobia and some kingfish caught by this lucky group of anglers. Yellow-tail snapper have also been hitting during the afternoon trips along with more kings.
An epic morning in which the Lady K caught her limit of cobia and released 12 more fish unharmed, along with many kingfish 8 to 2o pounds and a dolphin of 13 pounds all within an hour of fishing time. With the warmer weather, be sure to drink alot of fluids while fighting large fish and wear sunscreen.
Three out of four on Blackfin Tuna was the highlight of this afternoon trip. The Lady K has brought back tuna to 37 pounds, cobia to 58 pounds and smoker sized kingfish of 42 pounds during these ending days of May. With June just around the corner, try to get down to the dock at least an hour ahead of departure times to get a seat. Morning trips have been calm and hot so drink plenty of fluids. Afternoons are more breezy and cooler with the sun laying low behind the Lady K’s cabin.
