This 11 pound Mutton snapper took this angler by surprise while fishing aboard the Lady K during a rainy afternoon trip. The fish ate a triple hooked sardine fished on the bottom using one of the supplied boat rods.
The Lady K’s newest crew member, Rich, displays a seven pound Mutton snapper he caught on a 12 pound test spinning outfit during the same trip. Mutton snapper have a 16″ size limit and many of the fish caught aboard the Lady K will average three to four pounds with the larger fish mixed in during this time of year.
